Why do you feel that you would be the best choice as a leader? I've been in the clan for a long time, I have proven to be an effective moderator and I have never had any problems with anyone in the clan.

How would you handle two players fighting? Depends on what the topic is they are disagreeing upon, but I would usually have both of them stop fighting in the clan chat.
